About Us...
The Medina County Truck and Tractor Pullers Association has a long history at the Medina County Fairgrounds. We continue to grow in size and the action only gets better!
Our season consists of 3 pulling events. These are on Sunday and begin at 10 A.M., so come early to register. Rules, class listings, and dates are found on this website.
Each of our pulls gathers about 150 pullers from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana and, of course, Ohio to compete on 2 tracks of action. Pullers can compete for that date or pull for total season points depending on the membership payment that is paid. Each class must have 5 pullers for prize payout for the day. Even if there are not 5, you can still pull -but it is exhibition. If you want a class added that is not listed on our schedule, as long as there are a minimum of 5 pullers in the class, prizes will be awarded for the day. If you want to add a class, rules must be presented to the President and/or Vice President for review prior to the start of the class.
Our season finishes off at our awards banquet, held in early November each year. It is here that we recognize our accomplishments, our sponsors, our friendships, and enjoy a wonderful meal together.
We need sponsors to help us put on the best pulls that we can. For as little as $50.00 you can step up as a sponsor!!! Check around: Ask your boss, area businesses, and friends. This brings a business or individual recognition at all of our pulling events, website, and banquet.
Food is available at all events, so come to compete and bring others to cheer you on. Admission is $2.00 each for non-pullers / $5.00 per carload. We are usually able to have a kiddie pedal pull at our events. This is held 1 to 2 hours after the beginning of the pull. It is open to any boy or girl, 3 to 10 years old, and is free. You do not have to be a resident of Medina County (except for the county fair in August which is NOT one of our events) to pull with us.
Remember, there is no alcohol allowed on the Medina County Fairgrounds.
